An illustrated creative non-fiction zine on macabre humor and the earworms of those we’ve lost to the gallows in our memory. What jokes and language persist long after our loved ones are gone? And who will stand next to us in the queue in the coming days?

This piece is in honor of everyone I’ve loved (and lost) whose humor and words survive long after the memories of their faces have faded.
